Step by step

  1. Create an API client

    In the developer.viessmann-climatesolutions.com portal create an API client without a secret, with reCAPTCHA disabled and the redirect address shown in the HEMS device form.

  2. Add device

    Model “Viessmann — ViCare API”, enter the Client ID.

  3. Connect the account

    On the device page click “Connect ViCare account” and log in with the ViCare account.

The Viessmann API limit is 1450 calls per day — HEMS reads every 5 minutes.
