Rotenso heat pump and Tuya devices

Rotenso and other devices using the Tuya / Smart Life app are read through the Tuya cloud.

Step by step

  1. Create a project on iot.tuya.com

    Create a cloud project with the IoT Core service and link your app account to it (Link App Account).

  2. Copy the access data

    The project's Access ID and Access Secret and the device's Device ID from the project device list.

  3. Add the device in HEMS

    Model “Rotenso heat pump — Tuya app” or “Tuya device (cloud)”, data centre region and access data (encrypted).

  4. Approve the map

    On the device page read the device codes and confirm which code is which quantity.

Rotenso Windmi can also be read locally over RS485 (model “Rotenso Windmi”, read-only).
