Zamel SUPLA — supported devices and choosing a model

All Zamel SUPLA devices are connected the same way: a personal token from SUPLA Cloud and the channel ID. No ESP32 connector is needed.

What you will need

  • A SUPLA Cloud account with a Zamel device added
  • A personal token with channel read access (one for the whole account)

Step by step

  1. Add the device to your SUPLA account

If the device is not yet in the SUPLA app, first connect it to Wi-Fi and add it to your account — see “Adding a Zamel device to your SUPLA account”.

  2. Check the device symbol

The symbol (e.g. MEW-01/1F, LEW-02, LIW-03 ETH) is on the housing and the box. The table below shows what the device measures and which model to choose in HEMS.

  3. Create one personal token

SUPLA Cloud → Account → Security → “Personal access tokens”. One token with channel read access is enough for all devices on the account.

  4. Add each channel as a device

Devices → Add → the model from the table. Each channel (e.g. each LIW-03 ETH input) is a separate device in HEMS. On save, HEMS checks in SUPLA that the channel matches the model.

  5. Fetch the history

Once the first reading arrives, you can import archive data from SUPLA on the device page.

Model in HEMSWhat it measuresDescription
SUPLA MEW-01 (3F+N)Electricity · 3 phasesWi-Fi energy monitor 3F+N with 3 × 100 A current transformers, bidirectional measurement.

SUPLA MEW-01/ANT (3F+N, external antenna)Electricity · 3 phasesWi-Fi energy monitor 3F+N with external antenna — for metal switchboards.
SUPLA MEW-01 MRP (3F+N, 200/400 A transformer module)Electricity · 3 phasesWi-Fi energy monitor 3F+N for use with the MRP-200A or MRP-400A extension module (SC-24 / SC-36 transformers).
SUPLA MEW-02 ETH (3F+N, Ethernet + Wi-Fi)Electricity · 3 phasesEnergy monitor 3F+N with an RJ45 Ethernet port and Wi-Fi.
SUPLA MEW-02 ETH/SC-16 (3F+N, Ethernet + Wi-Fi, 100 A transformers)Electricity · 3 phasesEnergy monitor 3F+N, RJ45 Ethernet and Wi-Fi, SC-16 100 A transformers included.
SUPLA MEW-02 MODBUS/SOL (3F+N, Modbus + Wi-Fi)Electricity · 3 phasesEnergy monitor 3F+N with Modbus and Wi-Fi. In HEMS read via SUPLA Cloud.
SUPLA MEW-01/1F (1F+N)Electricity · 1 phaseWi-Fi energy monitor 1F+N with a current transformer.
SUPLA MEW-01/ANT-1F (1F+N, external antenna)Electricity · 1 phaseWi-Fi energy monitor 1F+N with external antenna.
SUPLA LEW-01 (1F, 16 A, direct measurement)Electricity · 1 phaseSingle-phase energy monitor for circuits up to 16 A, direct, bidirectional measurement.
SUPLA LEW-02 (1F, 100 A)Electricity · 1 phaseSingle-phase 100 A energy monitor.
SUPLA LIW-01 — impulse counter (electricity, water, gas, heat)Impulses: electricity, water, gas, heatWi-Fi impulse counter: counts impulses from the output of an electricity, water, gas or heat meter (impulse reader).
SUPLA LIW-03 ETH — 3-channel impulse counterImpulses: electricity, water, gas, heatImpulse counter: 3 independent inputs, Ethernet + Wi-Fi. Add each channel as a separate device.
SUPLA THW-01 — temperature and humidity sensorTemperature and humidityWi-Fi temperature and humidity sensor.
SUPLA — relay / socket (switch channel)Control: on / offAny device added to SUPLA with a switch channel: power switch, light switch or staircase timer (e.g. Zamel SUPLA relays and sockets). HEMS switches the channel on and off via SUPLA Cloud and reads its state every 5 minutes.
SC-16, SC-24, SC-36, MRP-200A, MRP-400AAccessories: current transformers and extension modulesThey work with an MEW meter — not added separately.

SC-16, SC-24, SC-36 current transformers and MRP-200A, MRP-400A modules are accessories — they work with an MEW meter and are not added separately.

MEW-02 MODBUS/SOL is read via SUPLA Cloud; its Modbus output is not supported by the HEMS connector.

SUPLA relays and sockets are added as actuators (model “SUPLA — relay / socket”) — for control the token also needs the “execute channel actions” permission. See the guide “SUPLA relay or socket as an actuator”.
