BleBox — switchBox, switchBoxD, meters and sensors

You connect BleBox devices locally via an ESP32 connector on the same network. HEMS reads state, power and temperature and switches relays on and off with a command through the Command Gateway.

Step by step

  1. Set a fixed IP address

Assign the BleBox device a fixed IP address in your router. In the wBox app check that access to the device does not require a password.

  2. Check the API level

In the wBox app → device → settings → device information you can see the API level. switchBox with an API up to 2020 — driver “BleBox switchBox / switchBox DC (API up to 2020)”; switchBox with API 20220114 or newer and switchBoxD — “BleBox switchBoxD / switchBox (API 2022+, channel)”.

  3. Add the device behind a connector

Devices → Add → choose a BleBox driver, address: the device IP, behind a connector with firmware 0.23 or newer. switchBoxD — each output as a separate device with its channel set.

  4. Check reading and control

After a minute the device page shows the relay state and power (models with metering). “Enable” and “Disable” in the “Relay” card send a command.

BleBox does not publish a cloud API for third parties — the integration works only locally.

Energy meters with the multiSensor API: HEMS reads sensor number 0 (in the Pstryk meter — the sum of phases). Check the numbering in other meters during installation.

Integration not verified on devices — report differences from the wBox app.
